- nayeli's little brother

- failed sixth grade [he was more concerned with helping nayeli at the time]
- helped his sister raise/name her kid
- very over-protective of nayeli and miguel [his nephew]
- doesn't remember his mom; barely remembers his dad [him and nayeli are the only members left of their family]
- got into gangs when he was fourteen [yes, that young]
- almost was murdered in a fight when he was fifteen [guy had a knife and enrique didn't know when to back down]
- was smoking crack when he was sixteen; almost overdosed
- moved to san diego, california with nayeli [still sixteen]
- ended up dropping out of school at sixteen [to help support miguel], was working two jobs, and managed to kick his addiction
- was an auto-mechanic
- moved with his sister to the island when he was eighteen
- works at the asylum as a repair man [he's extremely good with electronics]
- very chilled and laid-back as long as one doesn't cross his path the wrong way
- has been charged with multiple counts of assault and petty theft.

- hates half-assing things or not getting something done once he starts
- is a fan of basketball and soccer
- puts nayeli and miguel before himself [not self-centered/egotistical by far]
