•HIGH RISK- they are a danger to everyone.
- their criminal record generally has murder/attempted murder, rape, etc.
- their disorders are ones that generally distort their morals and thoughts or can make them do things they normally wouldn’t do [ex; murder an innocent bystander]
- someone of the high-risk level also may have an extreme mood/anger disorder that may cause the individual to “black out.”
•MEDIUM RISK- they are at risk of themselves.
- they generally have a history of self-hatred [ex; eating disorders, body dysmorphic disorder], self-harm, or if they are thought to eventually harm themselves [which would place most clinically depressed individuals in this category].
- people who suffer from masochistic personality disorder would also be placed here.
•LOW RISK- these people aren’t at risk of harming themselves or another person.
- they generally suffer from extreme phobias, compulsive acts, sleep disorders, mood disorders [that don’t promote extreme violence], and various addictions.
•ASYLUM STAFF
- the individuals who work at the asylum.
- statistics and current jobs located here.
- also note that these individuals don't really have to be "staff material." in other words, the staff members do not have to have a long history of, say, body-guarding or maintenance work. however, in order to be a doctor, nurse, or mortician, your character does have to have some college courses under their belt.
•EVIL SPIRITS- they generally torment the patients or have violent tendencies towards them/promote them to go even more insane then they may be.
- evil spirits may have a low connection to the physical world in which they can only make very simplistic notions of their existence [faint noises, hot and cold spots, etc], or they may have a strong connection which would allow them to be much more dangerous and much more connected [possession, appearances, conversations, etc].
•GOOD SPIRITS- they are no harm to the patients.
- they tend to be just trying to deliver messages to the real world, or be close to a loved one.
- they can do anything that an evil spirit can, but won’t generally possess an individual unless they have necessary and kind-hearted reasons for the actions.
