Hollis Reformatory. Once a place for the mentally insane has now been turned into a place for troubled youth members, a way for them to be rehabilitated to be productive members of society. Some are sent because their parents want help for them, or because they can’t be properly taken care of at home. Others are sent here via court order as a ways to come back from their mistakes and not have to go through the traumas of prison, and to get an education at the same time. Either way, they are stuck here until they are deemed stable enough to return to society.
The reformatory itself has seen its fair share of tragedy. Deaths happen every so often, nothing to be done about that now. The elderly have passed naturally, unnaturally and other wise. One of the more colorful ways was death by fire extinguisher, some jumped or were beaten. Others have come and gone through, either walked free or left in a body bag.
Every place has its history, and this place is no different. The original building was set fire by a group of teens, who thought it’d be a funny prank, but the fire got out of hand, and the entire building fell to ruin, countless staff and patients perished. All those who perished are said to hang out still to this day, haunting the teens who now reside in the reopened facility. RULES || PLOT || APP || FACE CLAIM
