RULES
JOINING. since this is based on real life, anime characters are not permitted. don't like it? don't join.
RESPECT. please respect your staff members, as well as the other website members. whatever the admins say, goes. in other words, if we tell you to fix something-- don't argue. do it. the password for the applications is insanity at its finest.
ACTIVITY. anyone may join this site, just be sure to stay active-- this means you have logged onto your account at least once in two weeks. if your account is inactive for two weeks without you stating that you're leaving, you're deleted-- no more warnings. also, if you join and don't have an application up within a week of being on the site, you're deleted as well.
GENDER/GROUP RATIO. it would be awesome if we could try and keep the gender as well as group ratio even. it would be no fun if we had 50 patients and only 2 hospital staff members.
SIGNATURE/AVATAR. for the graphics, your character must have an avatar or signature with them on it to be accepted. your avatar may not exceed 130 width by 300 length. as for signatures, keep them below 500 width and 500 height. if you need any help making one, feel free to ask a staff member or someone else.
PATIENCE. do not start roleplaying until you are accepted; out of character boards are not included here.
DISPLAY NAME. after registering, please make your display name as your character's first, middle, and last name in ALL CAPS (i.e. MARY ELLEN JONES). if it isn't in all caps, you won't be accepted because i refuse to change any names-- i find that lazy if you can't do what you're told.
APPLICATION INFO. incomplete applications will stay up for two weeks before deletion. if you are told to "read the rules" on the application, you most likely have something very simple wrong-- i.e.; password, application title, etc.
APPLICATION TITLE. for the application title, please have it as "LAST NAME, first middle." this rule is strictly so crystal doesn't freak out again about her OCD problem and the titles being different ^^. When finishing the application, do not have "finished," "done," "complete," etc. in the title... just the name.
NO MARY SUES/GARY DREWS. in other words, no character should be perfect, yet on the other hand, no character should be completely evil.
ACCOUNTS. only one character per account. this makes it less confusing on the members with whom they are roleplaying.
WORD COUNT/GRAMMAR. each post must have at least two hundred and fifty. take into consideration that this is an advanced to intermediate roleplay site. use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation in sentences-- make sure they are legible. if your grammar/spelling is too bad, the thread will be locked. there is a spell check. use it. roleplaying should also be in third person, not first.
GOD-MODDING/POWER PLAYING. absolutely no god-modding or power playing will be allowed. don't know what they are? google them. i totally lied about the password, by the way. highlight under the last rule for the real password.
IC C-BOX. do not post in IC c-box with characters that aren't finished. you may post with people that aren't on the site only if your person is having a visitation or with his/her child and you want them to be played. you must also have an avatar of your charrie for ICC...
C-BOX. please do not advertise in the c-box. if any IC chat is going on in the OCC c-box, your IP address will be banned from it. please also try to keep drama out of the c-box. if you want to share emotions, PM a member to talk about it and refrain from depressing everyone else in the c-box.
OTHER. as far as killing off/impregnating characters go, please consult the main admin before automatically deciding what you are going to do. after all, the site doesn't need to be overrun by suicidal pregnant bitches with guns, k'peesh?
