Lights flickered feverishly as the patter of rushed steps vibrated throughout the barren hall. Wildly, the man's eyes searched for a valid escape, but in the depths of his core he knew there wasn't such a thing. He'd never been able to escape the clutches of this monstrosity. Oh! What had he done! Why?! It wasn't worth it, it wasn't a fair trade, no.. Hands beat up against a door, banging against it violently as words came sputtering out from shaken lips "PLEASE, LET ME IN. PLEASE, HELP ME!" A guttural roar streaming down the hall made him abandon the door and flee.
The soles of his shoes couldn't push him faster, not even the surge of fear induced adrenaline was of much help. It was like it already had him on a leash. Snarls and hisses crept us behind him and his brain encouraged him to try another door. One had to be open, the asylum never had all the doors locked, the staff didn't care enough to be that attentive. Flinging himself to another sealed room he tugged at the handle. Hah! Relief washed over his panicked face for a split moment as the door screamed open. Nearly tripping into the room the man's eyes absorbed the dark interior. The stench of acrylics and paste invaded his nostrils, and canvases threatening to tip over by the slightest touch proved as obstacles. The art room. At this point in time he didn't really care where he was, as long as he could hide, which is what he was doing - curled up beneath a table like a frightened child.
The door thundered open, smacking against the wall to announce the entrance of it. A rhythm of hisses circled the room, the shaking human locking his eyes on the gigantic serpent-like tail sliding across the tile elegantly. Then, it stopped, silence shrouded the shadowed room before the man was snatched from his hiding. Before he was even capable of screaming he was crushed against a wall - the painted works that were tacked there crumpling in agony. Dull brown eyes locked with the intoxicating emerald orbs, not a word was spoken for that second of pure terror. It's talons wrapped around him in such a way it was like a harness, pinning him against the wall and allowing no escape. He had to face his consequences - or weasel his way out of them like he had done in the outside world.
"Look.. uuuh.. uum.. Belial.. I know.. uum.. I know th-that I-" his stumbling for words made Belial's eyes glow with amusement before they faded back to the wickedness. Belial's face swept in closer to the human's, his voice echoing with putrid sulfur "Sebastian, you little termite, we discussed the deal and I did as requested. Now it's your turn to give me what is rightly mine" Urine soaked into Sebastian's jeans as he listened, his body wiggling in an attempt to slip away from the grasp. "FUCK YOU, YOU KNEW I'D REGRET IT WHEN I GOT HER. FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SH-MMMMMM! MM!" Lips were sealed shut with a silver thread as Belial pressed even closer into the human, tongue lashing out "YOU TRIFLED WITH ME WHEN YOU BROUGHT THAT PRIEST INTO THE MIDST OF OUR BARGAIN. YOU CAN NOT BREAK A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL, YOU WRETCHED FILTH"
Freeing the grip, Belial released the forcibly silent human - his body gently thunking on the ground before he lifelessly lifted his head to stare at the horrid creature. "Your soul is bound to me, Sebastian. You will suffer internally, your mental state will become more perverse. Nightmares will plague you and visions of what awaits for you on the other side shall stalk you. And.." The serpent-like figure leaned closer to the motionless, tear-streaked face of Sebastian "I am going to steal your voice, no more lies will come from your tongue. You will suffer in silence, my dear Sebastian" With that, a green aura blanketed the man, slipping into his orifices and giving his skin an eerie glow of sickly yellow. With a sudden writhe of pain, Sebastian's mouth gaped open and the mist of green swelled into the body of Belial. A surge filling the core of the demon before he hissed in pleasure. Sebastian lay on the floor as if in slumber, Belial's four hands resting on top of him before the body vanished. And with that, the deal was completed.
The monstrosity remained there, his back arching as the sounds of a human's hushed breath touched his ears. Another human? It must have been one of his followers, someone who made a deal with him or had such strong faith as to believe in such things as demons - otherwise they wouldn't be able to see such a sight as he. He didn't bother to swivel around to view the spectator, instead he spoke in hushed words "Which one of my followers seeks me out at such a time?"
