Gentle blue orbs scanned the hallways, watching to see if there were any patients. It wasn't her duty to make sure that they were all tucked safely within their rooms, however she couldn't exactly bring herself to leave the asylum just yet. She knew that a lot of the staff members treated the patients with no respect, which caused her to worry quite a bit. Only because she had made a few friends while working there, as well as something a little stronger than friendship. It was not her place to have feelings for a patient, especially since she was a nurse. It went against the professional policy, which normally would have caused her to lean toward quitting. Then again, it was fairly innocent, nothing more than a crush. He was different from the rest, though. Rain had gone through enough in her life to know the good men from the bad, at least most of the time. She observed people a lot closer, especially after the incident.
She continued to patrol the halls, waving towards some of the guards as she passed them. So far the halls were clear of patients, which was a good thing. It put her at ease, knowing that she didn't have to worry so much. Seeing as how she was off duty, home seemed to be the only place to retire for the night. The positive thing about the end of her shift was seeing her baby boy, his smile alone melted her heart. He was the greatest gift she had ever been given, though it was from a terrible crime. It was a secret she held close, one in which she could not tell. It was hard enough, just waiting for the day that he would ask about his father. How could one tell their child that they were the result from a brutal raping? It was impossible, something that he would never find out. Besides, when she looked at him, she didn't see memories of that night. Of course, he did resemble Jack in many ways, mostly physical features. She prayed that he wouldn't turn out to be anything like him, then again she was the one raising him, in any case he would turn out to be a charming man.
Heaving a slight sigh she walked down one of the halls, stopping at one of the doors. Her eyes skimmed over the plate for a second before slowly turning the knob and stepping inside. She scanned the pool's contents briefly, making sure that there was no one else in sight. After she was certain that she was alone, she walked over to the clear water, a smile playing across her lips. Without wasting much time she pulled her shirt over her head, throwing it to the ground, along with her pants. It might not have been a good idea to be in the pool, however she wasn't exactly afraid of being caught. The woman deserved to have a little fun once in a while. She bit her lip gently as she took a seat at the edge, her legs kicking smoothly through the water.

Felipe held his rosary beads tightly to his chest as he knelt in the chapel. His eyes were closed as he silently prayed to himself. This was how he started off every day. He wasn’t the best guy, hell, he barely considered himself religious… but he wasn’t one to stray from at least thanking God he was alive. He knew he couldn’t back up evidence as if there really was a God or not, but he didn’t care. He had faith and that’s really all that mattered to him. He wasn’t really up for arguing, anyways. People believed what they wanted to believe. He wasn’t going to battle at that- it wasn’t his thing. He wasn’t one to cause fights and tension over some thoughts and opinions.
The male finished up his prayer, and did the finishing Catholic cross-over. His right hand, clutching the rosary beads, lifted to his brow “in the name of the Father”, moved down to his heart “of the S-son”, and then to his left shoulder and crossed to his right “and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.” The male opened his eyes and placed hid rosary beads back in his pocket, a happy sigh escaping his lips. He slowly rose to his feet, glancing up towards the small crucifix in the corner of the church. He figured they couldn’t have it bigger because of any religions that didn’t believe in Jesus or anything like that- hell, other religions had to get their meditation on. There were other religious paraphernalia in the sanctuary, anyways.
There had been days where he skipped prayer and for some reason, nothing went right those days. It seemed his life was hell without some sort of faith. He didn’t know why, but he assumed there was something out there trying to tell him he needed to get his shit together. Some people had it worse off than him, some had it better. Coming down to it, none of that shit mattered. Nothing mattered but your morals and beliefs. If you ain’t got any, what do you have? That’s just how he looked at it. Everyone has some type of morals- unless they’re a complete psychopath or somethin’, and that’s pretty much how it went in this place. Ah well.
The male had just recently, before his prayer, left the daycare center. He normally spent some of his day entertaining the kids. He just loved them. Hell, he even had his nails painted now because of the little shits. He would spend all day playing with children, though. They were so sweet and so innocent- most of the time. They were just human in their purest form. They love attention and love to be active- something he enjoyed. He wished he had a kid of his own- that shit didn’t work out as planned, though. He just shrugged it off now and looked at the fetal death as a lesson- he didn’t know what kind of lesson, but he wasn’t going to question it. He believed everything in life had reasoning and purpose, and he wasn’t going to let something get to him and challenge his faith- not anymore, that is.
His mind started to drift to the baby that could have been. The little girl he could have cherished- maybe he wouldn’t be in this position now. Maybe he would have changed, would have been a father and would have dropped all these addictions that got him here in the first place. He made some fucked up choices, but everyone suffers for their own doings. He knew how shit went- he’d played the game before. You reap what you sow in this world, and shit happened because of things he’d done- hell, maybe not even in this life, but maybe a past life. He didn’t know, he didn’t care. He dealt with everything in his own time.
The male quickly shook off the thoughts as he walked down the hall. His mind went off into another daze before he found himself at the entrance to the therapeutic pool- guess his conscious was telling him to relax for a while. The boy wasn’t dressed for swimming, but fuck it, he’d swim in his boxers or his basketball trunks. It’s not like it mattered anyways. He was known for his crazy moments- and his sense of style, or lack thereof. He thought it was funny- the way people stared at him as he walked down the halls. It’s like they were branding him to belong to an asylum just because of how he dressed. They all assumed he was some psychotic animal, when really he just dared to stand out from society- he was different.
The male opened the door to the room, and his shining whites immediately shone- all traces of past tension and negative thoughts were gone in an instant. God how he loved the site of Rain. She was such a gorgeous girl, so very beautiful and so very timid. She didn’t even know how gorgeous she was. Took his breath every time, she did. “We meet a-again, Gor-gorgeous.” He didn’t even notice the stuttering at the moment. He would pick up on it later, but right now he was too focused on the gorgeous girl before him. Her skin, hair, face- everything about her was just so flawless. She was an angel in disguise, he swore it.
“I’ve m-missed you!” He gave a soft chuckle, acting as if it was a joke- though it was far from one. He really did miss her. In fact, he’d get all weird and tell her. Might as well, it couldn’t hurt, right? Plus, didn’t girls like that shit- when guys took charge? “I really did, ya’ know.” He shut the door to the pool room and glanced around, realizing they were the only two in there. Oh god, he was starting to feel slightly awkward, now. Wow he really had no skills with the ladies.
The male cleared his throat a few times, patting his chest as his once arrogant, ‘imma tell her how I feel’ mind-state quickly dissipated. “Um…” he rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling softly. God he hated being so shy sometimes. “I hope that w-wasn’t creepy. I w-was just, ya’ know, b-being honest.” He gave another, awkward, out of place chuckle as he virtually smacked himself in the face. “You, uh, you j-just make my day s-seem better. Put s-some light in… the m-moment…?” He completely had no idea what to say. He was so bad with girls, so terribly bad.
Changing the subject, he cleared his throat again. “Lovely weather w-we’re having t-today, huh?” The males cheeks flushed slightly as he gave the female a weak smile. What a charmer, he was.

The female continued to sit by the pool, humming softly to herself. It felt amazing, having some time alone for once. Not that she didn't love the company of others, sometimes one just needed to get away from it all, to have a break. To be honest, Rain could really only take so much of being alone, which was why she didn't really do it too often. She would much rather being around those she cared about, besides, being alone just brought the silence, which lead to memories. Oh, those thoughts that clouded her mind each night before she let sleep take her away. The nightmares never stopped, the images of him seemed to linger within her mind. It didn't matter what the young female did, she just couldn't escape Jack. He was around every corner, he was in her child's laughter, his eyes. To make things even worse, he was working at the asylum. Even the mere thought of locking eyes on that man terrified her, one reason as to why she disliked being alone. Thinking of Jack seemed to stir certain feelings inside, which lead her to realize that she would later have to walk home, at night, alone.
Rain tried to shake the thoughts, she wasn't going to let him ruin her night. When it came time to leave, she would just have to suck it up and walk quickly, praying that she wouldn't have to see him. She sighed gently, eyes staring into the water. It was rather foolish to think, but she couldn't help but feel responsible for the whole thing. If she hadn't have been drinking in the first place, or even accept a ride from the man, perhaps things would have ended differently. Then again, she wouldn't have her beautiful son. It was a situation that took away from her either way. If it didn't happen, she wouldn't have Bentley to wake up to every morning. When it came down to it, she had no real regrets. Having her son was enough to make up for the emotional trauma she suffered from. Even to this day she still finds herself shying away from certain things. The major issue with her was trust, along with love. They went hand in hand, if one couldn't trust someone, how were they expected to love them? She was terrified of being hurt again, which stopped her from getting too close to another, especially intimately.
Her brows pulled together, tears forming within her eyes. Before she could even think of letting them fall, a voice caught her attention. The female didn't even have to look to know who it was. An instant smile spread across her face, bottom lip quivering slightly. Blue orbs traveled in his direction, a sweet chuckle creeping passed parted lips. ”Hey handsome.” Her voice carried out in a gentle tone, inviting the man in. God, that man. He was like no other, completely unique in every way. He was hard not to love, which only made things more complicated. Not particularly because of her job, more so for the trust issues. Of course, Rain knew what kind of a man he was, though it didn't exactly help. It was the fact of letting him in, being completely vulnerable. It scared her, however, she wasn't so sure if she was willing to let him go. The thought of never seeing his radiant smile again, it seemed far worse.
She listened as he spoke, her smile growing wider. ”It's not creepy.” She reassured the male, her smile slightly fading. ”I've missed you too.” Her voice strayed from its usual sweetness, coming across as sorrow. She looked down from the male, eyes hovering over the water as she listened to the words he had spoken. ”You're a sweetheart.” She couldn't help but feel warm inside, hearing of how he spoke about her. Rain had never been treated with so much admiration, so much love. It seemed too good to be true, things like that didn't happen to her. She was so used to being used by men, being treated like she meant nothing. Being put in a situation such as the one she was in, well, she wasn't exactly sure how to handle it.
Sniffling slightly she attempted to blink away the tears, looking back up to the man. ”Yes, it's beautiful weather.” She looked Felipe over as she spoke, taking in his current attire. It brought a smile to her face, especially upon noticing his socks. ”I like your outfit.” She was being completely honest, of course one could clearly tell. Rain loved how different he was, not blending in with everyone else. He had his own style, something that she admired. Looking back down to the water, she continued to slowly swing her legs back and forth. She immediately took notice to the fact that she was slightly under-dressed. She knew that it was just a bathing suit, however she couldn't help but feel a tad uncomfortable. The female hadn't shown so much skin since the day she was raped. It was stupid to think anything of it, but she couldn't shake the feeling. Biting her bottom lip, she folded her arms across her stomach, attempting to casually cover up some.

Her gorgeous smile just completely lit up the room. The girl seemed as if she was always happy… but you know what they say, the people that smile the most, that are happy the most- they are truly the most broken on the inside. He could tell something was off. She wasn’t the same as previous times. Sure, she was smiling, but it’s the way she looked off- looked so distant. The way her perky voice lowered in tone and now she just seemed so… helpless. He didn’t want to pry in her business, but he wanted to help. She devoted her life to helping people, the least he could do was offer to sit and listen, to give her a shoulder to cry on, or simply to try and help her get some sincere smiles going.
“My outfit?” the boy gave a soft chuckle and shook his head. “B-believe it or not, it t-took like li-liter-literally no time to put together.” a grin swept over his lips as he watched the girl, then glanced down at his attire. “It literally took me zero a-amount of seconds to p-put together.” He smiled towards the female, but his mind couldn’t help but wander to what she was thinking. She’d probably say she was okay, all girls do, but he could tell when someone was in pain. He dealt with seeing a lot of people in pain over the years- most because of stupid shit he had done, others because of stupid shit different people had done.
Pepe listened to the girl speak, and as she did, he pulled his socks and shoes off, letting them flop to the ground. The male then pulled his shirt off, the hat colliding to the ground with it. He went to turn back towards the female and quickly paused, relieving the rosary from his pocket and setting it on top of his clothes before then moving in the direction of the girl. He figured that if they were wearing virtually the same amount of clothing, it might help her. “Y-you don’t mind, do you?” he asked, inferring to him removing most of his clothes. The last thing he wanted to do was make her uncomfortable. That was the last thing he wanted to do to anyone, really- no matter who they were.
Each time she spoke he could hear her drifting off into some other land. She seemed to be heartbroken today- something he didn’t see too often from Rain. “If, uh, you d-don’t mind me as-asking, Chica, are you o-okay?” The male swallowed hard, feeling like he had no right to interfere with her business. “You don’t ha-have to tell me i-if you don’t want to… b-but I know it’s hard to k-keep things inside… bottled up.” The male gently sat next to the gorgeous specimen trying not to startle her and immediately took in their differences. She was light-skinned, flawless- even with tattoos. He had his darker tone, covered in dark tattoos, long and deep scars, and many other imperfections- including his speech impediment. He never let that bother him, though. It was who he was destined to be, he assumed.
“Just promise me one t-thing.” The male continued his speech from before before the female really had time to give her input. “Don’t t-tell me you’re okay i-if you’re really not. Y-you don’t have to tell me what’s going o-on, just p-please don’t lie to me. I k-know you’re hurt. I c-can see it in your e-eyes.” His voice came out smoothly- except for the stuttering- but he was very serious. He hated when people pretended to be okay. He hated that some people just dealt with their problems by themselves- it was so hard to do… he knew. “Y-you don’t have to talk t-to me, but t-talk to someone. You b-bottle shit up and one d-day, Chica, you gonna b-breakdown if you haven’t a-already. I’ve been th-there.” He watched the girl’s facial expressions, keeping quiet so she could now have her turn to talk. He wouldn’t interrupt, and she didn’t speak much when she did, but he was hoping she’d at least acknowledge that something was wrong.

Her eyes grew brighter as the male spoke of his outfit. Oh, he knew just how to cheer her up. He seemed as if he didn't even have to try, it just came natural. Her smile deepened, stare falling back upon Felipe. ”It goes together perfectly.” She could never spit out a lie to him, which was good in a way. She knew how much it hurt to have someone say something, and think something completely different. Rain wasn't like that, though. She meant everything that she said, honesty was important to her. Of course, there were the few secrets that she had to keep, much like everyone else. It wasn't really a big deal, besides, Felipe didn't need to know the dark events that happened in her past. What good would it do? Yes, it would feel good to talk about it, let it all out. Then again, she didn't want him getting in the middle of it all. The last thing she ever wanted was for him to get hurt.
Rain couldn't help but keep her stare to the male as he began to take off his clothing, eyes trailing along his tattoos and various scars. He was beautiful, both inside and out. She had never noticed all of his tattoos before, seeing them put a smile across her face. After a few seconds she caught herself still stairing, quickly ripping away her eyes, not wanting to be rude. After his voice was heard she slowly looked back up to him. ”Of course not.” She could feel herself blushing slightly as he approached her, eyes falling back down to the water. She felt like an idiot, acting all nervous around him. She was an adult, not a teenager experiencing her first crush. Then again, Rain had never gone through anything like that. She was even a virgin up until the night with Jack, and of course after said incident she shyed away from relationships of any sort. So, in a way, Felipe was the first person she had ever had feelings for.
She exhaled slowly, listening to speak once more before sitting down beside her. Listening to each and every word, she couldn't help but feel bad. He knew that there was something wrong with her. She didn't want to lie to him, yet she couldn't tell him the truth. After he was completely finished speaking, she turned back to him, eyes locking onto his as her lips parted slowly. ”Its just been a long day. No need to worry.” She let a gentle smile sweep across her lips, trying to reassure him that everything was fine. In the moment, she found herself not being able to look away. His eyes were hypnotizing, one of his best features, not that they all weren't amazing. After a few moments, she tilted her head back down, biting her lips slightly.
The female didn't want to bring Felipe down, which made her want to brighten the mood a bit. Letting her arms fall from her stomach, she gently slid her body off of the ledge, falling slowly into the water. She turned back towards the male, the same bright smile playing across her lips as she splashed some water in his direction.

It goes together perfectly? He honestly couldn't help but laugh at that one. He knew his outfits were horrid to anyone with a smallest fraction of a fashion sense. Hell, maybe she didn't have one- but that wasn't possible. This girl always looked flawless to him. Maybe he was just color-blind or something, and even though he thought he wasn't matching, he actually was! Hell, he could dream, right? Still, he couldn't get over her comment about him more-or-less matching. He just... he wasn't used to that. All through high school, and even as an adult, he was constantly picked on for his style senses. Maybe he was finally meeting someone who admired his traits- admired him for being true to himself... maybe, that is. It was still a long stretch.
“Flattery is the b-best policy.” He smirked slightly at the gorgeous girl, getting a pit in the bottom of his stomach. God it was so hard for him to talk to girls for some reason. “They s-say it will g-get you places in life, ya kn-now, Mamacita.” And that it does. People with an ability to flatter those above them could really get anything they wanted in life. It was so easy. You just say a nice comment about the way someone looks and BAM- you got a new promotion. That's just how simple-minded the human brain was, now-a-days. People could be simply talked to the right way and they would drop everything just because of one comment. It just didn't make any sense to him.
“Well, t-that's what th-hey say, anyways. Whoever they a-are.”The male grinned and gave a soft chuckle at his own joke. That's just what he was- a cheesy person. He wasn't fly and smooth with the ladies like all the other guys who didn't deserve the ability to be like that- the guys who had the ability to pick up any girl they wanted when all they'd do is throw her to the dogs the next day. Those guys treated girls like meat and that's all the female population would ever be to them. Him, on the other hand, he despised people like that- guys who did shit like that. He had done it before, no doubt, but not anymore. Not after his ex and him had settled down. Now he just wanted to desperately belong to someone, yet he didn't have the necessary skills to make a move. It was just how life worked- how it fucked him over.
It was a good thing she didn't mind him joining her- seeing as he already had his clothes off and was ready to have a good time. Hah, how fucked would that be? It really was how his life worked: he'd be ready to hang out with her and have some good, non-sexual fun- just laugh and have a good time. Then he'd take his clothes off to go swimming, ask her the question he just asked her, and she'd say she wanted to be alone. Now that was more like how his life worked. That was really how his luck was. At her remark, though, about being totally fine with him joining her, a huge grin played on his face. “Dios mios!” He chuckled softly, clapping loud one time before catching himself being the epitome of everything he was- a total loser. “Sorry, I'm j-just not used to g-gorgeous chicas s-saying yes to a-anything I ask.” He gave a half-hearted smile before he took a seat next to the girl, a smile etched permanently onto his lips.
She claimed nothing was wrong- it was just a long day. Like he hasn’t heard that one before! Oh well, she obviously didn’t want to talk about whatever was on her mind, and he wasn’t the type to force someone to talk. It was her business and if she didn’t want him prodding around in it, he’d keep his nose out of it. That’s just how he was. He wished other people were like that, though. “Fair enough, I g-guess.” The male shrugged his shoulders, his eyes skimming over the girl’s face that was before him. God she was like an angel, she really was. He felt like he was the luckiest guy ever just to be associated with her… just to talk to her and be her acquaintance. Who knew, maybe if his luck faired out he’d get lucky and it would be more than just a friendship- maybe. It was possible, right?
As the girl moved, he simply watched her flawless body glide into the water. She was like a brilliant work of art- something so beautiful and so admired that he couldn’t stand it. He wanted to stare at her for hours and just study her everything- as weird as that sounded. He wouldn’t say that to her, of course, but he was thinking about it. He couldn’t even say anything before the girl turned around, he was simply captivated by her beauty. And like that, he was shook out of his daze with a splash of water to the face. Another grin slipped on his face as a few chuckles escaped his mouth, shaking his head. “Oh s-so now you w-wanna get playful?”
The male slid into the water, as well, letting his body adjust to the temperature before splashing her back with a smirk. Hell, he hadn’t had this much fun in a while. She really did bring out the kid in him… he liked it. “I’ll let y-you know, I w-was the first annual w-water sp-plasher in my hometown.” He was obviously bullshitting her, but he had to have his fun too.

It seemed almost too good to be true, having a man such as Felipe stumble into her life. How could she have gotten so lucky? Surely Rain was known to have no luck with the opposite sex, given her past history. Perhaps things were finally going her way, well, for the most part. There was the small problem of him being a patient, not that it mattered much to her. It went against the asylum policy, having a relationship with a patient was a big no-no. Rain thought of herself to be a fairly professional woman, almost always abiding by the rules put in place by ones in charge. However, in that particular situation, she found herself leaning more towards not caring so much about the rules. If it meant losing the man, then she wanted no part of it. Of course, she knew that there would be consequences to her actions, she had no problem accepting them when the time came. Until then, she had no choice but to embrace the time she had with Felipe.
A soft chuckle drifted through the air as she watched the male slide into the water. She had to admit, the time spent with Felipe had been the most fun she could remember herself having. He was like a ray of sunshine, his smile alone seemed to chase away the darkness. Rain couldn't help but feel safe around him, wanted even. That feeling alone was something that she wasn't used to. Out of all the other woman in the asylum, for whatever reason, he chose to spend his time with Rain. It was a mystery to the female, why on earth did he want to be around her? Surely she was no different from the rest, well, except for the fact that she was more messed up mentally. Nevertheless, she was grateful to have found a man like him. Whatever his intentions were, she didn't really care. Not at that very moment, anyways.
Rain instantly tried to block the water sent from the male's direction, her smile deepening as he spoke. She couldn't help but let out another sweet laugh at his words, oh, he really did know how to make her brighten her mood. ”Oh really?” She spoke in a gentle tone before sending another splash of water his way. ”That sounds like a challenge.” Her voice filled the space between them in a playful manner before splashing the male yet again. After doing so she quickly swam in the opposite direction, attempting to escape the male's splashes. The female couldn't help but feel like a child again, playing around the water. Oh, he seemed to bring out the best of her, even without trying.
Once she reached the other end of the pool, she turned back to face Felipe. Her eyes grew warm at the sight of him, another sweet smile gracing her lips. She couldn't exactly bring herself to look away from the male. An anxious feeling attacked her insides, like tiny butterflies, causing her entire body to tingle. It was both terrifying and exhilarating. She wasn't exactly sure how to handle it, it was still all so new to her. The only thing she did know, was that her feelings for Felipe were growing stronger with every minute spent with him.

Oh she had no idea how playful he could get. The two of them had hung out a few times before- the most memorable being whenever Felipe was graced with the girl’s presence for the first time. He remembered it very clearly. He was at the gym and the girl made her way over to him- they hit it off in only a few moments. There were so many things he wanted to say without sounding… strange. He couldn’t help it; he just had some strong feelings for this girl. She was smart, gorgeous, sweet… the whole package. There was nothing about her he didn’t like- he could honestly say that. Honestly, it was one of the first times. His ex-wife… they only get married because of her family. He was trying to protect her and in the end the marriage only resulted in the death of heartache. It was sad, it was… everyday he dreamt of getting to hold his baby girl for at least one time. Then again, to be able to hold her and have her snatched from him only hours later, that was also something he didn’t want. Ah well, all things happened for a reason, right? There was some larger plan unfolding for Felipe- he believed that. Maybe he’d get his dream one day, just maybe.
He cursed his shyness day in and day out. He wanted so badly to talk to her… maybe he’d get the courage up. He could only wish, right? It was just a—the male’s thoughts were interrupted once more as he was splashed by the female. A grin played on his lips at her words, completely erasing all other thoughts he had. “Hell y-yeah it’s a ch-challenge, Mamacita!” The male darted quickly after her in the water- however fighting against the water wasn’t very easy to do. He quit trying to run and began swimming after her, getting close enough to splash towards the girl once again, a smile on his lips as he let out a chuckle. God he missed this. Having a friendship like this with someone- well, “friendship” with a female. It was nice and Rain was really the perfect girl to be around. Her smile and her laugh just made him melt. She was flawless. God was she a beauty.
He was only a few feet from the female, the smile on his face becoming more innocent than playful. It was rather obvious something was on his mind. He let his eyes scan over the female’s face- not once looking at her body- he just wasn’t that kind of guy. He also felt as if it would make the girl uncomfortable. Anyways, his eyes skimmed her face, shifting from her lips to her eyes and giving a hard swallow. He opened his mouth to speak and nothing came out… FUCK! Not now, come on… he was so comfortable around her and then he tries to ask her something important and all of a sudden his fear of girls kicks him in the ass. The male closed his eyes for a moment, giving a sigh. He was disappointed in himself, he really was. He hated himself for being like this, he really did. All he wanted was one thing, just one thing. He wasn’t asking for sex- he’d be fine with never having sex again. He just wanted someone to share an intimate relationship with… someone to fall asleep holding onto. Someone to be there for him and vice versa.
The male kept his eyes closed, exhaling again through his nose. He just wished he wasn’t even here now. He probably made the situation incredibly awkward, great. That was just what he was always known for with girls- “ruining” the “moment.” He didn’t mean to, he was trying to enhance it… he just always had a problem talking to women. He was so scared of rejection or dating a girl that’s only with him because she feels bad for him because he stutters. He just didn’t know what to do… perfect. He slowly opened his eyes as if he was hoping the situation would just solve itself, but he knew life wasn’t that easy. “Um… I’m… I-. I-‘m sorry, I’m a-awkward and just… a not the l-lady’s m-man I claim I am.” The male placed his hand on the back of his neck, rubbing it awkwardly as he let his eyes drop to the water, trying not to make eye contact. He just didn’t want her to reject him… that’s all. WORD COUNTxx 752 OUTFITxx here. TAGxx rain LYRICSxx heaven ain’t hard to find by 2pac NOTESxx ---

Her body seemed to move effortlessly through the water, attempting to escape the male's splashes sent in her direction. Arms pushing her forward, she reached the other side of the pool in little time. She held onto the ledge for a few moments before turning around, facing Felipe once again. The corners of her mouth tilted upward, forming a sweet smile as she watched him. The mere sight of the male warmed her insides, yet set her nerves on edge. She couldn't help but feel slightly nervous around him, for multiple reasons. It didn't take much to see that she truly wanted to get closer to Felipe, despite her fears taking over. She didn't want to be afraid, she wanted to embrace new relationships without running in the other direction. It was time to take a stand, push away all of her worries far to the back of her mind. How could she actually start living her life if her past continuously crept up on her. If she remained on the path she was headed down, there would be no going back.
She bit down on her lip slightly, radiant blue eyes locked onto the male's. Instinctively the female swallowed hard, noticing the small space between them. If it hadn't have been for the expression on his face, she may have felt a tad uneasy. However, witnessing the struggle that was taking over caused her smile to fade. The female couldn't help but feel bad, a knot forming in her stomach. It was clear that something lingered on his mind, though she didn't exactly know what. Instead of confronting him about it, she merely watched his eyes move down to her lips, eventually shifting back up to her eyes. Was he thinking of asking her something having to do with their relationship? Where did they even stand at that very moment, were they only friends? Thoughts raced through her mind, mixing together into one big blur. It had been so long since the female had gone through anything such as that, it was hard to get the hang of. She didn't want to move too fast, though on the other hand she didn't want to upset Felipe. The last thing she would ever want was to drive him away.
Her stare remained on the male, watching as he closed his eyes. She wanted to know what was wrong, she wanted to make the hurt go away. A man such as Felipe shouldn't have to feel that way, he deserved the world. Though, he clearly had something on his mind, something that he couldn't say, for whatever reason. Rain didn't want to be pushy, or force him to speak. She was patient that way, everyone moved at their own pace, some needed more time than others, including herself. It may have just been the fact that he couldn't find the right words to use. Whatever the reason was, she wanted to help him. Of course, she needed to take charge of herself before she could even think of actually helping another individual, especially Felipe. Yes, she technically helped a lot of people on a daily basis due to her profession. That was a different type of help, one in which was solely based on medical situations.
Rain inhaled deeply as she watched Felipe open his eyes, letting reality set back in. Her brows pulled together as his voice hit the air, heart dropping at his words. Why did he feel the need to apologize to her? He did absolutely nothing wrong, in any way. She didn't want him to place blame upon his shoulders because of her or anyone else. Though, instead of speaking, she merely watched as he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. She could most definitely tell that he felt awkward, not just by his words, but his body language. As he dropped eye contact, she could no longer stand to see him beating himself up. The female gently moved through the water in his direction, pushing herself closer to him. Once her body was only inches away, she let her hand reach his cheek, gently tilting his chin up to catch sight of his eyes. The same sweet smile played across her lips, warm eyes locking onto his. ”Don't apologize. You're perfect.” Her voice drifted through the lack of space between them, her tone remaining soft. ”You got me, didn't you?” In her eyes, Felipe was the ultimate lady's man. How could anyone want to reject such a sweet man?
Without really thinking, Rain leaned in closer, her lips gently pressing against his cheek. After noticing just how close she was to him, she slowly pulled back as her hands slid down to his shoulders. Her heart beat managed to pick up, seemingly skipping a beat.
