Welcome to Pine Valley, Wisconsin; population a little less than one thousand. What passes as a simple northwoods town is really just an illusion in a dark world of death. Pine Valley is more than a simple town, it is perhaps the last stronghold against the extinction of the human race. The people of Pine Valley are terrified of what lay in wait for them outside of their protective wall, yet they have come to accept the fact that death is certain one way or another. No one leaves Pine Valley unless authorized to do so.
When it comes to the likes of the terrors and zombies that lurk outside the borders of Pine Valley, they are always there, and they are always hungry. Hunger drives them, strength and speed helps thems, blood feeds them, and bullets stop them.
